2015-2016 Aspen Middle School 8th Grade Supply List Science: All assignments will be digital/online this year. If you have a device (laptop, ipad, chromebook, etc.) please plan on bringing it every day to class. I would strongly suggest not using your ipad as your device as we are unable to graph data from our classroom activities on ipads. If you do not have a device or are unable to bring it to school, I do have a limited amount of chromebooks that are available to borrow during class time. I can also provide a hard copy of all notes and labs for those who prefer paper. If you are planning on receiving a hard copy, please purchase a three ring binder for science class. Math:
3 or 5 Subject Spiral Notebook or 3 Ring Binder * Folder w/Pockets for Handouts Graph Paper Ti 84 Plus Graphing Calculator (Optional)
Reading/Language Arts: 3-Ring Binder with dividers * Pack of College Ruled Notebook Paper Composition Notebook Blue and Black Ink Pens 5 Color Set of Highlighters 2 Packs of Note Cards
Social Studies: 3-Ring Binder * or Spiral Notebook with at least 2 sections 3-Hole Folder for worksheets Pack of College Ruled Notebook Paper Common 8th grade supplies among classes: Pencils (Lots of them) Colored Pencils or Markers
2 Boxes of Tissues for Team Time 1 Roll of Duct Tape for Team Time
* You may consider having one 3 ring binder with sections for each class instead of one 3 ring binder for each class *
World Language Supply List
Three-ring binder- 1 ½” thick Loose-leaf, 3 hole punched, lined paper ( to put in binder) 5 dividers, with tabs (to put in binder) Pencil and Pen- Blue or Black and red ( no sparkle pens, please) 3x5 index card ( to stay in your locker, until needed) French/Spanish Dictionary ( this will stay in your home) 1 box of Kleenex for the class
