The only major variation of the Tiger II was the gigantic "Jagdliger" (Sd.Kfl-.186). which boasted a 12.8cm PaK44 L.J55 (also designaled 12.8cm PaK80) in a limited-traverse casemate mount on a ~tretehed chassis. It too was handicapped by its limited numbers (approximately 85 built). excessive weight (over 75-metric tons) and I:lck of mechanical reliability. While mosl of these were built .....ith torsion bar suspension. sever..l were fitted with Porsche volute spring suspension units.
