HALLOWEEN PRINTABLES Marysia Bursche fullofideas.pl rysunki: Marzena Wywrocka easyteachingideas.blogspot.com
karty obrazkowe w dwóch wersjach: czarno-białe i kolorowe Do wykorzystania w rozmaitych zabawach. Wendy Witch, what do you want in your witch’s stew? Dzieci trzymające karty zadają czarownicy pytanie "Wendy Witch, Wendy Witch, what do you want in your witch's stew?". Czarownica odpowiada September/October 2017 PHOTOCOPIABLE

Crocodile can we cross the river?"
karty pracy do utrwalenia materiału I spy... What can it be?
Have fun!

WIEK: 3-LATKI CZAS TRWANIA: 15 minut METODY PRACY: metoda naturalna, TPR, metoda audiowizualna, metoda audiolingwalna, gry i zabawy językowe CELE OPERACYJNE: Uczniowie dwiczą czasowniki ruchu, rozpoznają trzy kolory, potrafią się przywitad i pożegnad, wykonują dwiczenia grupowe.

Zazwyczaj mówi Hello i daje buziaka w policzek. 2. Piosenka na przywitanie, np.: Hello Song autorstwa Super Simple Songs (https://youtu.be/fN1Cyr0ZK9M) Śpiewam i pokazuję wszystkie ruchy. 3. TPR - przedstawiam kilka czynności. Proszę, aby dzieci powtarzały po mnie: walk, hop, run, stop, tiptoe, jump, swim, sleep, wake up. ;) ”Walking, Walking” - Super Simple Songs (https://youtu.be/fPMjnlTEZwU). Włączam nagranie, śpiewam i pokazuję razem z dziedmi. 4. Zaczyna mówid po angielsku: Make a circle big, big, big. Small, small, small. Big and small. Make a circle round and round Round and round. Make a circle up, up, up. Down, down, down. Up and down. Now sit down. Down wszyscy kucają. Na koniec grupa siada. Powyższe dwiczenie zostało wykonane a cappella, należy je teraz wykonad wraz z podkładem muzycznym. Make a circle - Super Simple Songs (https://youtu.be/ALcL3MuU4xQ) 5.

1. Na początku witamy się śpiewając piosenkę. Moją sugestią jest “Let’s Shake Hands” – Maple Leaf Learning (https://youtu.be/pHmsE1mnhgg) 2. Biorę piłkę lub małą maskotkę. Trzymam ją i mówię My name is … Miss Edyta”. Następnie podaję piłkę dziecku i zadaję pytanie What’s your name? Jeśli dziecko nie rozumie, jeszcze raz powtarzam moją odpowiedź, a następnie ponawiam pytanie. Z mojego doświadczenia wynika, że dzieci szybciej i lepiej zapamiętują gdy zostanie wprowadzony rytm i muzyka. Włączam nagranie: „What’s your name? – Maple Leaf Learning (https://youtu.be/Uv1JkBL5728) Zatrzymuję nagranie w momencie gdy powinna paśd odpowiedź. Wtedy podaję piłkę do dziecka i oczekuję na wypowiedź typu „My name is …”. Dwiczenie powtarzam kilka razy. Przypominamy sobie kolory. Można to zrobid na kilka sposobów. Osobiście proponuję rozłożyd karty obrazkowe nadrukiem do dołu. Wskazuję na jedną kartę i zadaję pytanie What colour is it? 4. Siedzimy w kole. Zadaję pytanie Who is wearing green? (dobrze, jeśli pierwszy wymieniony kolor mam na sobie). Dzieci szukają koloru na swoich ubraniach. Po chwili mówię If you’re wearing green – FREEZE. W tym momencie zastygam. Dwiczenie powtarzam z wszystkimi kolorami. 5. Włączam piosenkę „Color Freeze Dance” – The kiboomers (https://youtu.be/cap54yZoiQ8) 6.

- nasza gra „wojna”, - gra memory, - karty obrazkowe, - karty do gier planszowych.

Główne przeznaczenie zestawu jest do kategoryzacji według kolorów oraz nazywanie poszczególnych przedmiotów poprzez proste zdania: „It's a / an ...” , „It's blue/ green/… .”

SCHOOL OBJECTS gry i zabawy językowe Dominika Piechowicz waytomasterenglish.blogspot.com Na początku września zazwyczaj przewija się gdzieś temat przyborów szkolnych. Pick up a pencil...one, two, three… Nauczyciel prosi uczniów o poszukanie jakiegoś artykułu szkolnego w danym kolorze, np.: Find a blue pen / yellow notebook / white rubber. Uczniowie szukają przedmiotów, podnoszą go i powtarzają nazwę. Please Kolejna zabawa przyda się przy dwiczeniu zwrotów takich jak np.: Open your book, Close your notebook, Put your pen on the book. Chcąc wyrobid w uczniach nawyk dodawania zwrotu Please możemy pobawid się z nimi w tę oto zabawę. Wydajemy uczniom polecenia. Przykładowo: Nauczyciel mówi Stand up, please – uczniowie wstają. Nauczyciel mówi Stand up.

Touch and guess Do zabawy potrzebujemy nieprześwitujący worek/torbę. Do środka wrzucamy różne przybory szkolne znalezione w klasie. Where is your…? Kolejna zabawa to przeróbka Mr Skeleton, where is your bone?, w której zamiast pytad o kośd możemy zadawad pytania dotyczące przyborów szkolnych. Prosimy ucznia ze środka o otwarcie oczu i pytamy Kasia, Kasia, where is your pen? lub pomijamy imię i po prostu pytamy o przedmiot. Uczniowie mogą tworzyd pełne zdania np.: It’s a pen./It’s a blue pen. Yes/No Game W jednej części klasy kładziemy kartkę z napisem Yes, a w innej części kartkę z napisem No. Dla lepszego efektu, przez środek sali można przewiesid sznurek, który będzie dzielił klasę na połowę z częścią Yes i częścią No. Pokazujemy uczniom przedmiot szkolny, np.: zeszyt i mówimy It’s a book. No. It’s a notebook. What are you hiding? Uczniowie zgadują co to za przedmiot zadając pytanie Is it ...?.

HAVE/HAS GOT – BOARD GAME Dominika Piechowicz waytomasterenglish.blogspot.com Celem poniższej gry planszowej „Have/Has got” jest utrwalenie odmiany czasownika „mied”. Symbole użyte w planszy to:

Stand up if you… - wydajemy uczniom polecania takie jak np.: Stand up if you are tired. / Stand up if you’re wearing something blue. / Stand up if you’ve got a sister. / Stand up if you rode a bike yesterday. / Stand up if you like singing. Zamiast zwrotu „Stand up” możemy użyd innych czasowników takich jak „Sit down on the floor”, „Jump up high”, „Clap your hands”, „Stomp your feet” itp.

Opcjonalnie, obrazek można podpisad np. sunny, partly cloudy, foggy. Potrzebna będzie również klamerka, którą na każdych zajęciach będziemy zaznaczad aktualną pogodę oraz odpowiadad na pytanie „What’s the weather like today?”.
Degrees – pytanie o stopnie.
Można np. włączyd fragment filmu/reklamy/piosenki związanej z tematem np.: Food Song (Barbara Lica) gdy mówimy o jedzeniu, filmik Mr Bean Daily Routine – o odziennej rutynie, filmik XXL – Sports Unites All – o sporcie.
Patyczki larngologiczne i pytania – na patyczkach (100 sztuk/ok. 3,5) piszemy różne pytania np.:How old are you?, Where do you live?, What did you do yesterday?, What are you wearing today.

Podajemy uczniom piłkę i włączamy muzykę. Uczniowie muszą rzucad do siebie piłkę, a gdy nauczyciel zatrzyma muzykę osoba trzymająca piłkę musi wybrad jedną kartę i ją odwrócid. Włączamy muzykę i podajemy piłkę dalej.
Karteczki samoprzylepne pod ławką – przed zajęciami musimy przygotowad dwie-trzy karteczki samoprzylepne i przykleid komuś pod ławkę. Na początku zajęd prosimy, aby uczniowie zajrzeli pod ławki, a jeśli znajdą pod nimi karteczki muszą je wyciągnąd bez pokazywania innym. Pomysł z karteczkami można dostosowad do praktycznie każdego tematu. Na karteczkach można umieścid np. obrazek z czynnością. Uczeo wychodzi na środek klasy i musi pokazad czynnośd, a uczniowie zgadują i tworzą zdanie w czasie przeszłym mówiące co ta osoba robiła wczoraj. Inne pomysły: na karteczkach umieszczamy słowa z jakieś kategorii i uczeo mający karteczkę musi opisad to słowo, a reszta uczniów zgaduje; piszemy zdanie np.:It’s ten to eight i uczniowie podchodzą z karteczkami do tablicy i zapisują godziny liczbami; piszemy słowa, a uczniowie kolejno podchodzą z karteczkami do tablicy i mają 30 sekund na narysowanie; piszemy bezokoliczniki, a uczniowie muszą podad formy przeszłe + zdania. Do każdego tematu można coś wymyślid, a uczniowie uwielbiają spoglądad pod ławki w poszukiwaniu karteczek.

LANGUAGE FUNCTIONS USED IN THE CLASSROOM Ewa Szymkowiak

TO BE Patrycja Krzyżostaniak veryeasyenglishh.blogspot.com Gra świetnie nadaje się do powtórzenia i utrwalenia zastosowania czasownika ‘to be’ w czasie Present Simple. Dobrze jest zalaminowad karty z pytaniami i karty odpowiedzi, dzięki czemu można je wykorzystad wielokrotnie.
Zasady gry
Do następnej karty przybiegają kolejne osoby z grup.

TO HAVE GOT Patrycja Krzyżostaniak veryeasyenglishh.blogspot.com
Odmiana czasownika ‘to have got’ sporej liczbie uczniów sparza wiele problemów. Dzięki poniższej grze, uczniowie przedwiczą i utrwalą tworzenie zdao, przeczeo oraz pytao z użyciem wspomnianego czasownika.
Zasady gry
Drukujemy 2 tabelki i okrągłą planszę. Pierwsza wyrzucona ilośd oczek to kolor – należy odszukad go na okrągłej planszy.

APPERANCE & PERSONALITY Dominika Piechowicz
Wycięte obrazki możemy użyd do opisywania wyglądu, zabawy „Zgadnij kto”, a także możemy zrobid kolaż obrazków - z wyciętych części (niekoniecznie ciała) zrobid jedną postad, a później ją opisad. Uczniom starszych klas mogą spodobad się poniższe pomysły: Guess who – uczniowie wybierają jedną znaną postad realną lub fikcyjną nie zdradzając jej tożsamości. W kilka minut muszę stworzyd krótki profil tej osoby. Uczniowie odczytują opisy, a reszta grupy zgaduje kim jest opisywana postad. Guess who inaczej - wybieramy jedną osobę z klasy, która będzie zadawała pytania i zgadywała. Wybrana osoba staje tyłem do klasy i zamyka oczy. We are… - classroom display – do nauki/powtórzenia cech charakteru można wykorzystad tablicę korkową, jeśli mamy taką w klasie. September/October 2017 PHOTOCOPIABLE

CULTURE SHOCK a project on living and studying abroad Karolina Kępska karolina.kepska.weebly.com/blog
Nowadays, we are on the brink of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, gaining key competences is vital for our students and graduates. Project-based teaching/ learning is one of the practical solutions to the problem of unemployment. PBL is a teaching method in which students gain knowledge and skills through experience and doing meaningful projects. PBL can be adapted in any classroom regardless of the curriculum the teacher is following. There are few ELT course books which consider project-based learning with the groups of teenagers and young adults. For this reason Polish schools very often limit PBL to younger grades of the primary school. It is a real mistake, CLIL and PBL are two strong trends on the teaching English language market. The key element of the method is setting the students goals they are supposed to achieve. When they have their aim, they know the problem to solve, now they are ready to focus on the ways and phases of project’s realization: - getting the information and knowledge needed - challenging the problem - sustained inquiry - using authentic material - peer-correction - immediate feedback - public presentation of the project Below, there is a handout which will help your secondary students make a project about living and studying abroad.

TASK THREE Each of you have a relative or a friend living or studying abroad. Contact them to complete the project. Aim: Find out as much as you can about someone’s experience regarding culture shock they got when moving to another country. Check which difficulties they had and how they overcame them. Present your findings publicly so together with your friends you can decide which problems are the most common and which solutions are the best to solve them. Phase 1: contact your friend or relative living abroad, ask them about culture shock, if you don’t know anyone living abroad, try to search through the Internet and find as many useful sources discussing culture shock as possible (try to find the blog posts of people who moved out). Phase 2: make a list of useful words and expressions connected with living and studying abroad, in this way you will learn a lot of new vocabulary Phase 3: make a presentation about a chosen person, their problems and solutions to get over them (use pictures, quotations, videos, make it nice, check it for mistakes, make it lexically and grammatically correct). Phase 4: in class present your findings. Phase 5: the teacher will encourage peer-correction, don’t be afraid and listen to their feedback, then in groups (2 or 3) decide which problems are the most common and which solutions are the best. Phase 6: together with your group, using each person’s project, write an article giving the readers helpful tips for people planning on living and studying abroad. Phase 7: publish your article online on a school website, on your Facebook®, or on your personal or school blog, encourage your friends to read it.
