This pack was made to go with the book, Ducks in Muck by Lori Haskins. These are the activities included in the kindergarten pack. Page 4 & 5 - addition math mat with duck counters and printable numbers. Work addition problems with the ducks. Page 6 & 7 - roll and graph items. Create the die, have child roll it, and color the block of the picture that ends up. Page 8,9 & 10 - skip counting puzzles. I made these to review skip counting with my kindergartner. You could laminate and add magnets to the back for easier use. Page 11 - use a magnifying glass and find the items in the pictures. If you laminate the cards, the child may reuse these to practice. My kids love using the magnifying glass. Page 12 - mixed up sentences. Print this out and if you want to save ink, print it black and white. There are four sentences to rearrange. The child could glue the sentences onto another piece of paper or reuse the tiles to make silly sentences of their own. Page 13 & 14 - where’s the duck? Print out sheet and cut it apart. Hide the duck behind a truck and the child has to find him by reading each card to clear the board. This can be used in a table pocket chart or just directly on the table. These were made to practice blends as well as -uck words. Page 15 - handwriting page laminate if you want to use again. Use wet erase markers and allow the child to practice his words. Page 16 - uck word mat. Cut the letter tiles and practice reading -uck words.
