IRONING ROOM
1.
This drawing shall be read in conjunction with all other services, Architectural drawings, project specifications and contract documentation.
2.
All grilles and diffusers to have opposed blade dampers.
3.
All ductwork to DW144/DW172 (where applicable).
4.
Flex to be used only straight-all bends to be rigid.
5.
Fire dampers to be located in accordance with fire strategy drawing requirements.
6.
Access doors to be located adjacent to fire dampers and every 3m.
7.
All branch connections shall have VCD's.
8.
All diffusers and grilles to be supported by structure.
9.
In positions of restricted headroom, ducts may be supported with flat bar formed to duct shape with fixings at sides on bent lugs.
10.
All ductwork brackets to have an acoustic soft rubber or neoprene interface layer to the duct.
11.
All supply ductwork, including supply plenum boxes to be thermally insulated.
12.
All references to specific manufacturers are made for design specification purposes, installed equipment should be of equal standard and approved.
13.
All Heat Recovery Units to be fitted with 22mm condensate drains.
14.
All louvres to be 50% free area.
