Training effect – skills and competence: Students gain: - awareness of water pollution caused by petroleum industry, - information concerning different methods of waste water treatment, - ability to cooperate with the proper environmental services. The course is focused on water pollution caused by hydrocarbons. For complex environmental education the courses 'Environmental Protection in Chemical Technology and 'Soil remediation' are strongly advised.
