Respecting your School
Chewing Gum is not allowed within the building due to the damage that has been done through people leaving chewed gun in unhygienic places i.e. not a litter bin. We have already had to replace some furniture due to damage. The cleaners have also noted the high level of used gum that they have to clean from surfaces. Therefore pupils should not be chewing gum anywhere in the school. If you do not comply with this rule you will be reprimanded.
Have you lost a silver ring with a single clear stone? In the office for collection.
2017 School Snowsports Trip to the Italian Alps:
Could all of the pupils who have signed up for the Snowsports trip to La Thuile in the spring please attend a short meeting in the theatre on Friday lunchtime at 13.25pm for a short but important meeting with Mr Trinder. Any pupil unable to go for genuine reasons must see Mr Trinder in Guidance.

Scotland Rugby Trips Autumn Internationals and 6 Nations
Could all pupils interested in going to see Scotland v Argentina on Saturday 19th November and/or Scotland v Ireland on Saturday 4th of February please come to a brief meeting at break on Friday in Mr Wilson’s room (109).
Tickets for both games go very quickly so attending the meeting is essential to guaranteeing your place. Pupils who have a genuine reason for not being able to make the meeting (such as being at college on Fridays) should see Mr. Wilson TODAY at break.

A Christian prayer group for students will be starting at lunchtimes on Mondays, meeting in Room 229. You will be made more than welcome. For any further information, please speak to Duncan Wiseman or Angus Macleod in 5th year.

Are you interested in an opportunity to develop skills in Leadership and Coaching and Mentoring?
Do you want to learn transferable skills that you can use in Higher Education and the workplace?
Do you want to help younger pupils with their Literacy skills?
We have six places for training to be a literacy mentor. You will be working with younger pupils by supporting their reading, writing, talking and listening in different curricular areas. Places are allocated through an application process.
