Flash the ROM with Flashtool Lenovo S650 After replacing the system board, it is required to flash the phone’s OS to your region’s up-to-date version Download the model’s whole software package to your PC and unzip all packed files, leave the folder directory structure as default
Flash the ROM with Flashtool Lenovo S650 Back up user data before upgrading, and remove the microSD card from the phone Connect the phone (when Powered off) to the Windows XP (or newer) PC via USB connection Windows prompts for new device and ask for installing the driver for “MT65xx Preloader”

Locate and install the driverfrom the unzipped software package

Do not power on the phone, leave it as connected to the PC

Locate and run the flash tool from the unzipped software package

On the Flash Tool interface, click on the “Scatter loading” button

Browse the unzipped software package, find the folder “target_ bin” and locate the file as “MT65xx_ Android_scatter.txt”, then click on the “open” button to continue

Make sure the 3 options as shown below are checked

Make no changes to the other options, click on the “Firmware -> Upgrade” button

The progress bar in purple runs for several times then stops at 100%. Then re-connect the phone to the PC, the upgrade starts automatically

When the software upgrade successfully completes, the program will prompt as below. Otherwise, a red circle

If the red circle appears,check the connection and pre-settings, then restart the process
